Financial advisors have had some bad publicity in the past, so as someone who has worked in the financial sector it was with trepidation that I approached an IFA. I could not have more wrong. John was friendly and honest, to his detriment, he recommended the right thing for me to do (which was nothing) in order not to make a massive loss (despite my appetite for risk). He then did a lot of research in order to help me with a small pension I had with another company, at no point was I made to feel inconsequential due to the smaller amount and his advice and professionalism was of the highest standard. The fee structure was discussed beforehand and there were no hidden surprises.
